Nancy Vogt received both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in music from the University of Michigan and her Doctorate of Musical Arts degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Before coming to Lincoln she was employed as Artist in Residence-Trombone at the University of Northern Iowa. In the summers she has been a faculty member and administrator at Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp in Michigan. A sampling of the many groups with which she has performed includes the Lincoln Municipal Band, Lincoln Symphony Orchestra, Des Moines Symphony Orchestra, Detroit Concert Band, Ann Arbor Chamber Orchestra, Saginaw Symphony Orchestra, and most notably the United States Air Force Band, Washington, D.C.
